The Discovery process is one of the most important steps in the web development process. During this time we analyze your existing website, business processes and analytics to identify pain points and the current user journey.

First, we seek to answer the following:

Who are your current visitors?

  • What is your current user journey and how are visitors navigating your current website?

  • Where are you losing potential clients or customers and why?

  • Where are your current visitors coming from (search engines, social media sites, referrals, etc)?

  • What are your current calls-to-action and are they working? If not, determine why

  • How much time are users spending on your site

  • Traffic by page

  • Number of leads per month - existing sales from website

  • Assess website indexing through Google Search Console, determine broken links and indexing issues that need to be addressed

Once we've analyzed your current website & processes, we finalize your website goals and determine the design objectives, strategies and functionalities required to achieve those goals.

The final product of Phase III is a written analysis that we can refer back to throughout the design process to ensure we are meeting the desired goals and objectives. This document defines:

Website Purpose

  • Target Audience

  • Measures for Success

  • Goals & Objectives

  • Website Strategies
